MOSCOW, Dec 7 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry is ready to sign a 7.14 billion ruble contract for development of microprocessor Elbrus-32S with MCST after the tender, according to the portal of state purchases seen by PRIME late on Monday.

“The tender committee has decided to announce (microprocessor company) MCST the winner of the public online tender,” the documents read.

MCST that bid 7.14 billion rubles at the tender, the maximum price, is to develop a 32-core microprocessor to create a computing system in the class of high-end servers and data storage systems.

If MCST avoids signing of the contract, the ministry can make the deal with the second highest bidder, RC Module.
